Common questions.
Is the runtime really free forever?
Yes. The Sovereign tier is the full codebase you install from GitHub. MIT licensed, no feature flags, no artificial limits. Paid tiers are optional convenience layers (hosted sync, priority support, team collaboration) — they add to what you already have, they don't gate it.
What does "hosted memory sync" mean? Doesn't that break the sovereign story?
It's opt-in. The default is that your memory lives only on your machine. If you subscribe to Studio or Team, you can turn on end-to-end encrypted sync so the same graph is available on your other devices. Keys are held on your device, we never see the plaintext. Turn it off any time.
Can I self-host the Team features?
Yes — the whole codebase is on GitHub. Team subscriptions get you a hosted control plane so you don't have to run one, but the source is available if you'd rather.
Do you take API keys / credentials?
No. Your provider API keys (OpenAI, Google, etc) live in ~/.config/monkey-wings/ on your machine. They never leave. Even with hosted sync enabled, the encrypted blob never contains API keys — those are excluded from sync by default.
What payment methods?
Stripe: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA, iDEAL. Enterprise invoicing available on request.
How do I cancel?
From your billing portal, one click. No email required. Your data stays for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind, then it's deleted.
